We are seeking enthusiastic clerical staff to join a small but busy team based in the Health Records Department in Preston.
The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day processing of records that have been sent for archiving, maintaining security and confidentiality at all times and observing all Trust policies relating to the management of Information.
Tracking, retrieving, scanning and culling of records will be a major part of the role, with opportunities in the future to travel around the Trust gaining knowledge and experience of how the wider organisation manages records.
The Trust is moving its patient records to a new Electronic Patient Record and the digitisation of paper records will be key to supporting this. The Health Records Team will play a vital role in supporting those Teams who are transitioning to electronic records.
