CAMHS, Tier 3, Chorley & South Ribble CAMHS Team

The Chorley and South Ribble CAMHS team is one of the 5 CAMHS Service within the Trust. The post is a well-established post with established networks with GPs, Children’s Services, local schools and the Paediatricians at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Trust is committed to delivering effective clinical services that reflect identified good practice within the NHS and the best evidence bases for specific areas within mental health services. It is also strongly committed to research, staff development, education and training.

Along with the opportunity of participating in planning and steering working groups relevant to special areas of interest or general area of work, there will also be an opportunity to participate in teaching and training through supervision of Trainees. Audits, Research and participation in Leadership programmes are all exciting expectations of the roles, in order to ensure delivery of safe, high-quality services for patients.

Applicants for the above vacancies must be fully registered with the GMC; have a ‘license to practise’; hold a MRCPsych or an equivalent approved indicator of training a Certificate of completion of training and inclusion on the specialist register or within 6 months from completion of training on the interview date; have or be able to apply to have Approved Clinician Status.
