Medicines Management

 

Pharmacy Administrator

 

Base: Bridge House, Blackburn and Sceptre Point

 

Band 3

 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

 

We are looking for an individual to work as part of a small team to provide comprehensive administration and office management to support Medicines management within LCFT. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of administration and support functions with regard to non-medical prescribing, medicines management education and training  and Patient Group Directions (PGD), which will require communication with internal staff and external organisations on a daily basis. The post holder will be required to work flexibly across the Bridge House and Sceptre Point sites to carry out the above functions, and to provide cover for periods of Annual leave and staff sickness across the team.

Key skills needed are excellent communication skills and high standards of computer literacy with the ability to manage databases. A working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel is therefore essential. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own workload and be able to utilise their own initiative. The post holder will be required to work within deadlines with good record keeping and file management skills.
