Clinical Falls Specialist
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Blackburn with Darwen for a B7 clinical specialist (30 hrs per week) with a special interest in falls prevention and management. Applicants should have a relevant professional qualification and clinical experience working with older people at risk of falls. Within Blackburn with Darwen falls prevention is delivered within the Rapid assessment and Community Rehabilitation team. There is strong multidisciplinary and interagency working with linked roles to admission avoidance. The role requires continuous quality development of the service, strong clinical leadership and will be integral to supporting the Pennine Lancs STP
There will be a requirement to work over an extended 7 day rota period 8am to 8pm (pro rata) to support the work of the Rapid Assessment team
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
